HimSafar means a fellow traveller — the one who shares your road. Fold in Him, the Himalayas, and it says exactly what we are: your companion across Himachal. Rides are the spine; activities and experiences layer on top.
Why we exist
Getting around the hills has always meant a bad trade: overpay for a whole cab you don't need, or squeeze onto a bus that stops everywhere. Drivers, meanwhile, hand 20–30% to aggregators on already-thin mountain margins.
HimSafar rebuilds it around fairness. Riders get preset, surge-free fares and a single seat option that lands near bus prices. Drivers keep 100% and get paid direct. The local taxi union stays the trust layer — verified, not replaced.
Where we're going
We started as Pahadi Rides and grew into a full ecosystem — five ride engines plus activities, experiences, destinations and trip planning. Himachal is the beginning. Uttarakhand, J&K and Ladakh are data entry, not a rebuild.

How we are building
The waitlist is not a marketing trick. It is how the operating map gets built.
Demand before rollout
We open routes when enough riders show interest and enough local sellers can serve them properly. That keeps the platform honest instead of pretending every corridor is live on day one.
Local trust before scale
Taxi unions, drivers, guides, hosts and small operators are part of the network. HimSafar works only if they see real value, fair payout and a reason to stay visible.
Travel as a full day, not just a cab
A Himachal trip includes airport pickup, a local ride, a trek, a tea walk, a temple circuit and luggage movement. The product is designed around the whole journey.
