The problem is not another generic travel-search page. It is fragmented local mobility, weak digital visibility for small operators and no simple path for residents to become verified tourism earners.
In many hill towns, booking a cab still means reaching the nearest taxi stand, finding a local number or asking a hotel to arrange one. Porters, luggage help and last-mile rides are even harder to discover in advance.
Small events, guided walks, home meals, craft sessions and seasonal activities are scattered across calls, posters and personal networks. Travellers miss them and local hosts miss income.
A resident may have a spare room, a skill or deep cultural knowledge but no help turning it into a safe, priced and discoverable experience. Himsafar is building that onboarding and curation layer.
